Ironing is a health hazard

and that is why I don't do it.

On the weekend when I heated up the iron for the first time since I-don't-know-when, I burnt the back of my hand, and that is why, ladies and gentlemen, our iron very rarely sees the light of day. It's a nasty piece of equipment, I curse you inventor of irons.

I would have taken a photo to show you all my nasty little burn, but alas, our camera is kind of, well, broken. The little knobby thing that enables you to change functions has fallen off. I must get it repaired (even though I'd much rather have a shiny new camera).
